Fundomental first executions.

Last year on boxing day, i have also become a father which makes me striving even further. i hope to leave some work behind where my son could be proud off. and this year hopefully by boxing day i would be able to print my sons first t-shirt as a birthday gift. nothin beats, a selfdrawn and handcast silkscreen doodle art t-shirt. this is my first project in officially kicking off my first project.

OUR LITTLE MONSTER IS 1. a thematic t-shirt for the family, how cool it is to have a series of custom t-shirt with lovely graphic on this meaningful event. 1st birthday means alot of every family with a child. it meant the sacrifice of parents for a full one year, it also celebrates all the development that progress well, from a small baby to a walking toddler with few teeth with alot of exploration involves, crawling and walking, feeling everything possible, inserting almost everything in the mouth, to touch, to feel, to taste. This makes it very tiring as a parent, and i am sure all the parents will be like " ohhh she is an angel when she behave and smile, but when she starts to go over active sometime, i am like taking care of a little monster".

An introduction

Hi. Welcome to my new blog. Some of you might read this very first post after youhave  followed the link to this blog. A big thank you to you too. For those who havent, i have been blogging for almost a year and a half, since i know my wife is expecting, and i am in the midst of upgrading my status. For whatever reason this have been one of the key reason to blog, hoping to document down my personal development as an artist.

Qswitch design has been long developed, however it did not kicked off officially. there's minor jobs on and off with some freelancing and some favour works, which is okay. i love design, and i am channeling all my mood and energy to Qswitch. Since there isn't content on myself, i have blog on design matters most of the time. However i didnt expect to launch a side project this soon. Introducing Fundomental.

Fundomental
How i got the name? simple bench mark of "fundamental", however its a abbreviation of what i like to do too. doodle. i doodle, doodle and doodle. as i am not good with colours, all i ever do is doodling wholeday, hoping to introduce myself in the creative industries. now i am going to take a small step, by kicking off fundomental, to mark my 1 year effort in exploring myself and introduce myself to the creative world.

Every single view of my project makes me happy. every single comment, makes me happy, even u r blunt, every single appreciation or like make me feel acknowledged, and i couldn't thank you more. a small gestures from anyone would really really make my day.

So Fundomental is also an entrance for me to reintroduce myself to the world,  as i no longer wants to hide behind any name. i am tan kay hong, i did not receive any pro training in arts, however i love to doodle and sketch all my life, this comes along with some good music too. i am an account manager in my daily job a.k.a a creative seller (thats what i would like to term myself as)

Fun.Doodle.Mental. forms Fundomental, with a simple logo signing in, with my chinese name running a drop of water forming a leave. symbolizes a new life at the beginning of my 30's as a slightly different person. drawing makes me happy, and its always fun to doodle ( not when ur mums finds out u uses all the exercise book she bought for you with her hard earn money to draw) lol. anyway, i keep believing in this. even the person which is closest to me, might not agree with what i do, but i still holding on to it, as part of my life. Fundomental focuses on the element of fun. and all the graphic is form with my random doodling when i am waiting for my client, when i am waiting for an email from a fren, when i couldnt sleep or just any occasion i would take up a pen and paper to draw.To complete the doodle art , so that it does not waste away, i would further produce it digitally and select on the best canvas i wanted it on. 

To all beginner which fond of doodling, keep doodling. for the pro and experts your critique will be valued all time, and i do not intend to compete or anything, as i believe every artist has his/her value in differennt eyes. i still remember seeing some arts which i really couldn't engage myself with, but some people are willing to spend millions on it. So to everyone out there, have a good life, cheer up, if not come to read this blog, i am sure i am some fun doodle graphic to share with you. to all the artist happy illustrating. thank you.
